GvR 2008 Update
This past weekend was the 5th annual GVR event at the Etnies park in Lake Forest. From the Goofy footed side we had Big smooth Malcolm Watson, Mike Franklin and Andrew Cannon. Representing for the regular footers was Kurtis Colamonico, Cody Davis and Dustin Blauvelt.
The Festivities kicked off on Thursday night with Dustin and Mike battling it out to see who could make the highest Wizard stick and still stand. From that point on it was smooth sailing and lots of good skating. Everyone skated great in the contest with Dustin and Mike barley missing the the cut to the finals and Kurtis qualifying in the top 5. He skated in the finals and helped the regular footers claim the title. Check the World Industries' myspace in a few days for some footage. World myspace URL: myspace/worldindustriesk8
